As somebody who is sick and tired of seeing these speakers today that have 6 and 1/2 inch "woofers" it is quite refreshing to see some REAL speakers. Go big or go home.
100% agree. Tired of these "modern" tall tower speakers. Love the the old fashioned *real studio monitors.* I'm jealous, my JBL's only have one 15 inch woofer...😁
Quite correct. Large drivers mounted on large baffles give scale to the sound, that is missing from wimpy mini monitors. Musical instruments tend to be large and produce larger wave launches than do most domestic speakers. But very big speakers better capture this sense of scale that is an important but forgotten aspect of sonic realism.
Depends very much on the space where you put your speakers...

I've never owned "modern tall speakers", but I've heard many and they can compete very well with speakers that are of the older enclosure size. My point was/is that I just don't care for the newer style/look of speaker enclosures. Designers still get the same cubic feet that a older style speaker enclosure has, but in a different form. Instead of wide it's now deep, and of course over the years the electronics have changed to help with using smaller woofers. I own a pair of JBL 4365 speakers, modern, but not tall and thin. Powered by a McIntosh MC452 amplifier.
Thank You Kenji for another delivery, and in stall video. I love these. Absolutely love the driver atrray on those speakers. The cabinet finish is beautiful. Love that beautiful home also!

今晩は、このシステムは、音響効果も、あると思いますが、リアルで、演奏されている、楽器が、無駄のない音源を再現されていますね。スピーカーの迫力もですが、響き方も、生演奏の様に聴けますね。ハイレゾ対応イヤフォンで、聴いていますが、イヤフォンの中での生演奏に、なっていますね。
なんて素敵な空間なんでしょう
大型スピーカーをここまでしっかりと鳴らすのは至難の業。実際に聞いてみたいと思うのは少ない。兎に角、素晴らしい。

They look a bit like home made speakers from the 70s'. The sound might not be the most hifi, but for sure they do fill that large room with music and do it with a quite pleasant way

これだけ大口径のウーハーを積んでいるので低域が出ているのは当たり前ですが、広域が煌びやかですね！ これで聴くジャズは相当気持ちいいだろうなぁ。
とにかく部屋が良いんですよ、この馬鹿でかいスピーカーを一般的な10畳程度の小部屋に置いたらいくらいいスピーカーでもこんな朗々とは鳴りません.....

Impressive,however back in the early 90's,I had the C 37 ,And C38 cabinets with the full compliments. I just felt the JBL made the best drivers in the world,but the cabinets were never designed for time aligned delivery or a coherent line source.its ok if you are using them in a huge hall,

The system is great but, the two white columns flanking the speakers are such an eyesore and probably not very good for the soundstage IMOH, YMMV. Maybe bring the speakers out a little more so the drivers just clear of the columns?
I tought the same thing. But maybe its about it would partialy cover TV screen when looking from side couch???
But not only the sound stage will get better, but the bass also if owner bring speakers further from wall.
Exactly what I was thinking. The columns have to be creating soundstaging issues. Something needs to be done there. ;)

I believe these did in fact start life as original speakers but the version here is more of a restomod, I also own a pair of JBL speakers that have been restored with new paint and wood veneers so they look very different than what JBL sold.

I appreciate the audio equipment to the highest magnitude. What type of Supercar is he/she driving at the beginning of the video. The automobile sounds equally impressive as the speakers.....! Both sound equally symphonic.
When watching a movie, I's stare at the speakers 40% of the time.
Pro tip. The tweeters should be furthest away from each other to create a wider stereo field.

I own a pair of 4350B bi-amped with 2x MC7270 + a K231 active crossover @250hz.
The MC901 setup is a dream.
The sound levels produced by the 43xx is breathtaking, magnificent and potentially dangerous to your health.
I want to know what's going on with that hardware BEHIND the speaker? is that a Kennrick crossover ? where's the video on this?

Слушаю McIntosh MC901 через cвой McIntosh MC275, и такое ощущение, что я слышу как у них звучит, с тем же качеством, хотя, конечно оно разное.
I seen the phone was on AIRPLAY which is better than Bluetooth but I still believe a record player gives a much more organic feel.
There very close to the wall , there couldn’t be much of a soundstage or image maybe I’m wrong
